AMS will introduce Catella PACS DICOM Importer, which allows users to add image files to a patient's record.
DICOM Importer can import images from CDs or any DICOM files accessible on an institution's computer network or even another institution's network, according to the Hawthorne, CA-based vendor.
The firm will also be unveiling Catella Docu-Scan, which allows for digitizing printed material to add to a patient's DICOM image file. The system includes both automatic and manual modes, and image files can be routed to up to 10 different locations, AMS said.
AMS has also upgraded its WebVue image distribution software, film digitizer, and CD burner offerings.
