CoActiv will discuss developments with its Exam-PACS modular PACS offering.
Customers now can install unlimited copies of CoActiv's clinical exam viewing software throughout facilities for one fixed price, making it easier for radiologists, attending physicians, staff doctors, as well as ICU and ER staff, to view images using the same software, according to the Ridgefield, CT-based firm.
The company has also expanded its Exam-Sender image distribution tool, allowing referring physicians to search the entire exam database with search restrictions. Robotic capabilities have been added to CoActiv's Exam-Filer CD-burning offering, which is also now compatible with most other PACS networks, CoActiv said.
In addition, CoActiv's Exam-Vault offsite archiving system also can now be integrated with other PACS networks.
In company partnership activity CoActiv will emphasize integration between Exam-PACS and Canon Medical Systems' digital radiography (DR) product line, as well as a new partnership with printing firm Codonics. Bidirectional integration has also been completed between Exam-PACS and Voxar's 3D software.
