DeJarnette will display version 2.0 of its dyseCT multislice CT management software.
The new release offers an improved segmentation algorithm, handling of neurological studies, improved handling of CT auto-send for some makes and models of scanners, as well as automatic destination fail-over and storage commit proxy capability, according to the Towson, MD-based firm.
The company will also display a work-in-progress MR dyseCT product, designed to provide similar capabilities for MR scanners in a PACS environment.
Ledger is a new PACS reporting tool. The software, which conforms to the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) Basic Security profile, provides real-time activity reports of PACS workstation and printer usage, as well as PACS media and Web-based image and report distribution, DeJarnette said. It is scheduled for release in January 2005.
Another introduction, NewVistA, is a general-purpose PACS gateway targeted for Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) hospitals and clinics. It provides general DICOM query/retrieve capability for images stored in current VA VistARad PACS networks, and is slated for release in the first quarter of 2005, DeJarnette said.
DeJarnette will also add Intelligent Router to its PACSware software suite. Intelligent Router provides image routing capability for on-demand or Web-based PACS networks, according to the firm.
A work-in-progress, PACSware CheckIn, serves as a PACS removable media import facility. DeJarnette plans to release CheckIn in March 2005.
