Dynamic Imaging will be pointing booth attendees to new clinical applications and system architecture expansions for its IntegradWeb PACS offering.
The firm will show off its new fault-tolerant grid architecture, designed to ensure business continuity for multisite PACS operations in case the network fails. The Allendale, NJ-based vendor will also now be offering OrthoPACS (via a partnership with Israeli firm Orthocrat), an orthopedic software package featuring a template library.
In 3D developments, Dynamic Imaging will present a configurable slice-thickness reformatting engine, which automates image formatting to minimize storage space requirements following image postprocessing and reconstruction.
A slab scroll tool provides on-the-fly, in-plane reformatting with adjustable slice thickness, while a configurable data compression utility automates lossy image compression over time to create smaller file sizes as studies age, the company said.
In other introductions, Dynamic Imaging is rolling out an automatic results notification capability, which automatically e-mails referring physicians a link to their studies online as diagnostic results become available. The firm has also upgraded its key images template, allowing users to configure the most commonly used annotation phrases for dragging and dropping onto key image templates.
Dynamic Imaging will also show hanging protocols based on scanning techniques and orientation, a capability that streamlines management of nonstandard scan protocols and improves study layout predictability, according to the firm.
