This monitor manufacturer will unveil several new display offerings.
FIMI is set to show off new high-brightness LCD monitors at the show, including color and monochrome models with brightness greater than 500 nit and 2100 nit, respectively.
The Saronno, Italy-based firm will also debut a 15-inch, 3-megapixel LCD monitor, and a 23-inch, widescreen 2.2-megapixel (1920 x 1200) LCD display with a viewing angle of 176 degrees and a video response time of 16 msec.
In other new product developments, FIMI will highlight a 3D auto-stereoscopic display, offering users a panoramic "walk-around" effect, according to the firm. The 3D display technology, developed by Philips Research, employs a slanted lenticular lens system with nine separate views, providing freedom of movement for viewers and enabling several viewers to view the 3D images at the same time, FIMI said.
The display includes a 2D/3D switching feature, as well as 2D to 3D conversion software, FIMI said. The company will also direct traffic to I-Med, a user interface that integrates eye tracking and voice control for the management and manipulation of medical images.
