A CD/DVD publishing tool and a cardiology workstation are among GE's introductions this year.
GE will introduce Centricity Digital Hardcopy, which provides automated CD and DVD publishing capability. Integrated with the GE's Centricity PACS or any DICOM network, Digital Hardcopy can also be integrated with film digitizers and paper document scanners, according to the Waukesha, WI-based vendor.
Digital Hardcopy is in limited pilot production, with full production slated for the end of the year.
Another Centricity addition, Cardiology CA1000, is a cardiology review and analysis workstation. Cardiology CA1000 can be integrated with Centricity for on-demand PACS viewing of cardiology cath, echocardiography, and nuclear medicine studies, GE said. CA1000 is also expected to be in full production by the end of the year.
