InSiteOne is expanding its InDex disaster recovery service.
Archiving services provider InSiteOne will unveil InDex Recovery Plus, which expands its disaster-recovery offering to provide data protection beyond DICOM images, according to the Wallingford, CT-based vendor.
Recovery Plus can provide the recovery needs of all medical data, including the databases that drive PACS and HIS/RIS systems, InSiteOne said. It's also customizable for different strategies, ranging from delta-based replication to synchronous and asynchronous mirroring.
Recovery Plus is a hosted service, but customers can also choose to keep a redundant backup onsite as well, InSiteOne said.
