Matrox will add several new display controller boards.
The company is set to debut RAD2mp and RAD3mp PCI Express display controller boards. Providing PCI Express support for 2-megapixel and 3-megapixel displays, the controller boards offer dual-output support for color, analog, or digital displays, according to the Dorval, Quebec-based vendor. RAD2mp and RAD3mp PCI Express will debut in early 2005.
Matrox will also discuss its Low Profile RAD2mp and RAD3mp boards, designed for low-profile workstations. The boards can also provide dual-output support for 2-megapixel or 3-megapixel grayscale, color, analog, or digital displays. Availability is expected in early 2005.
