RealTimeImage will introduce iPACS Prism 5.0 and iPACS Cardio.
Version 5.0 of iPACS Prism adds customizable hanging protocols, patient-centric and modality worklists, enhanced multimonitor support, and image zooming beyond 1:1, according to the San Bruno, CA-based vendor. It also offers CD burning, quality control (QC) stations, and support for the DICOM save dialog.
RealTimeImage has also enhanced its iPACS architecture to allow for support of sites with several million studies. Prism can be deployed either as a standalone PACS network or to expand an existing DICOM archive for Web-based PACS functionality.
In other product developments, RealTimeImage will unveil iPACS Cardio, a cath lab viewing, archive, and management tool. Utilizing the firm's image streaming technology, iPACS Cardio can convert any PACs into a Web-based, software-only cath lab workstation, RealTimeImage said. The workstation can then serve as standalone departmental system, or can be integrated into the hospital network.
