Siemens Display will bring two new versions of its SMfit calibration software to the show floor.
The Lafayette, CO-based vendor's new SMfit ACT (automatic calibration tool) software package is available in two flavors: SMfit ACT Calibration and SMfit ACT Remote. Utilizing a universal photometer, SMfit ACT Calibration calibrates color CRT monitors and color LCD displays, as well as monochrome units, Siemens Display said.
SMfit ACT Remote offers calibration of remotely installed displays, the company said. Both versions make use of an internal sensor in the Siemens monitor or a serial photometer, Siemens said. A Universal Luminescence Meter can also be utilized for calibrating color CRTs and LCDs.
