SmartPACS will showcase version 5.060 of Infinitt's StarPACS network.
Version 5.060 features 3D capability, orthopedic PACS technology, Infinitt's RIS, and a work-in-progress 3D PACS concept.
The new release of StarPACS provides PACS capabilities for specific environments, such as radiology, orthopedics, and dental applications, according to SmartPACS of Irvington, NJ. It also includes embedded speech recognition and user-configurable display settings. Other highlights include a JPEG 2000 progressive display and a triple storage architecture.
StarPACS Orthopedics is designed to provide workflow and efficiency improvements for orthopedic operations, offering joint-replacement surgery planning and templating capabilities, SmartPACS said.
SmartPACS is also debuting Infinitt RIS/PACS, which features single-database integration, imaging visualization analysis on the same workstation, and a unified radiologist worklist.
Finally, the company will direct attention to its Infinitt 3D PACS, a work-in-progress integrated PACS and 3D workstation. 3D PACS offers integration of 2D and 3D image viewing capabilities, as well as volumetric image navigation and reading, SmartPACS said. A release date has yet to be set.
