Sorna will add several new products at the show, including its FilmX eXpedo CD/DVD creation system.
Employing Microsoft's .Net architecture, FilmX eXpedo offers load-sharing benefits for CD/DVD creation when configured in a multiple system installation, according to the Eagan, MN-based vendor.
It includes automatic fail-over functionality, and queries a RIS/PACS broker for inclusion of structured reports. Disk creation is automated by patient, studies, series, and image levels, Sorna said.
Users also have the option of creating both a diagnostic quality CD or an HTML-based disk that allows patients to view images and structured reports on a personal computer, Sorna said. Sorna will also debut FilmX Star, a DICOM archive with Web-based image review functionality.
The company has also added a software upgrade for its Open LiteBox offering, adding key image manipulation functionality. This allows users to flag key images in a series to expedite image selection, Sorna said. Other enhancements include additional hanging protocol options, additional multiplanar reconstruction capabilities, and a reconfigured graphical user interface.
