PACS technology developer Sorna has introduced a new CD/DVD recording offering. Available in two versions, eXpedo XR and eXpedo XRP, the systems integrate a disk burner, computer server, control panel, and a display monitor, according to the Eagan, MN-based firm.
eXpedo XR includes a 2 x 25-disk capacity and a CD/DVD burner, while eXpedo XRP offers a 2 x 50-disk capacity and two CD/DVD drives. Both are Web-enabled for remote operation, and may be operated using a built-in control panel and LCD, Sorna said.
The units are completely automated and networked to record, label, and manage the production of DICOM disks containing diagnostic procedures and related reports for referring physicians, and JPEG disks for patients.
