Siemens Medical Solutions is releasing a 3D stereoscopic display system that enables users to view angiography studies in 3D without the use of special glasses.
Malvern, PA-based Siemens said that the display creates two or more views of an object to produce a stereoscopic impression delivering depth information, which enables physicians to more clearly view vascular structures.
The display does not require the wearing of special glasses, nor is it limited to only one viewer, allowing for its use in sterile environments and meeting rooms, according to the company.
