Mercury will highlight the upcoming new release of its Visage PACS at this year's RSNA conference in Chicago.
In addition, Mercury has bolstered the user interface of Visage PACS' Web Client, adding flexible viewer layouts, side-by-side comparison of any number of images, and hanging protocols.
The new release will also feature tighter integration with the company's Visage CS Thin Client advanced visualization application. When reviewing thick slices in the Web Client, users can now launch Thin 3D Client with a single click, automatically utilizing the corresponding thin slices for 3D reformatting and display, Mercury said.
Mercury plans to roll out the new release of Visage PACS in the first quarter of 2007.
