Rogan will be adding several new enhancements to its View Pro-X software.
View Pro-X 3.0 adds the ability to query/retrieve images when using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher, according to the Veenendaal, Netherlands-based firm. The same viewing software is available to both radiologist and clinical users, Rogan-Delft said.
In other upgrades, the software's worklist functionality now shows image/series thumbnails. Also, authentication protocols and authorization levels are provided for users and administrators, Rogan-Delft said. A new feature, called Unique Hanging Protocol (UHP), recognizes the radiologist and presents the UHP as required by the user, according to the vendor.
Rogan-Delft will also be introducing three new versions of View Pro-X 3.0: mammography, orthopedic, and a 3D rendering version. The 3D version will bring 3D capabilities to a wide array of medical specialists at their various locations, Rogan-Delft said.
