The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) of Leesburg, VA, has launched an educational effort for imaging informatics professionals (IIPs), the society reported.
The project includes resources for those preparing for the American Board of Imaging Informatics (ABII) Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) exam. SIIM has established the SIIM IIP Education Advisory Network (EAN), which is developing educational courses and materials for imaging informatics professionals.
The new imaging informatics professional sections of the SIIM Web site will communicate SIIM's resources and include up-to-date information, FAQs, and documents on SIIM educational initiatives and position statements for IIPs.
