Teleradiology services provider NightHawk Radiology Holdings issued preliminary financial results for 2007 that show recent acquisitions boosting revenues for the year, although the company reported a slump in the fourth quarter (end-December 31).
The Coeur d'Alene, ID-based firm's preliminary unaudited financial results for 2007 show revenues in the range of $151 million to $152 million, compared with $92 million in 2006. The firm said that its acquisitions of Midwest Physician Services and Radlinx helped boost sales for the year.
Fourth-quarter revenues are expected to be lower, however, which the company blamed on greater-than-expected seasonality and a delay in transitioning former Radlinx physician contracts to Nighthawk's compensation model.
