Infinitt enjoys healthy Q4 sales

RIS/PACS vendor Infinitt North America of Phillipsburg, NJ, posted $8 million in new RIS and PACS contracts for the fourth-quarter of 2007 (end-December 31), three times the number signed in the same period in 2006, the company reported.

The company attributed the sales increase to renewal contracts with existing customers for its Electronic Image and Information Management Solution (EIMS) program.

Infinitt's RIS/PACS offering is built on a relational database that eliminates the need for an interface between modules, the company said. It also offers visualization features, real-time system monitoring, embedded reporting, document scanning, digital dictation, and speech recognition capabilities.
