Barco of Kortrijk, Belgium, has received a contract to deliver diagnostic display systems to Baptist Memorial Health Care hospital group, the company reported.
Baptist Memorial Health Care includes 15 affiliate hospitals in Tennessee, northern Mississippi, and eastern Arkansas; more than 3,100 affiliated physicians; home, hospice, and psychiatric care; minor medical centers; a network of surgery, rehabilitation, and other outpatient centers; and an education system.
Baptist Memorial Health Care will purchase Barco's Coronis and Nio display systems through third-party distribution and OEM partners, Barco said. Also included in the deal will be Barco's soft-copy QA package, MediCal QAWeb. Barco will provide access to its technical support team and establish a dedicated Baptist Memorial training and support team.
The agreement starts immediately and extends to 2012, according to Barco.
