Graphics developer Matrox Graphics has introduced a new set of display controller boards for medical imaging.
The Xenia series display controller boards support a range of displays and formats, according to the Montreal-based company. Each Xenia and Xenia Pro native PCIe x16 single-slot board drives up to three digital displays; each Xenia output supports an 8-, 10-, and 13-bit independent Gamma LUT for DICOM calibration of 8- or 10-bit grayscale and color displays.
Xenia can also support 3-megapixel displays with 512 MB of on-board memory, while Xenia Pro supports up to 4 megapixels for the navigation console and up to 8 megapixels for each imaging display, Matrox said.
