Orthocrat debuts data storage service

Orthopedic template and surgical planning developer Orthocrat is launching its Orthoweb online service at this week's American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) meeting in San Francisco.

Orthoweb allows orthopedic surgeons from private clinics to download surgical plans, avoiding the need to bring CDs or other devices into the operating room, according to the Tel Aviv, Israel-based firm. The company is marketing Orthoweb as an add-on service for customers employing the company's TraumaCad software.
