Merge releases eFilm RIS/PACS

Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare of Milwaukee has released eFilm RIS/PACS, a Web-based imaging informatics application for single imaging centers that perform up to 10,000 studies annually.

First shown at the 2007 RSNA meeting in Chicago, eFilm RIS/PACS includes eFilm Workstation desktop imaging software, document management capabilities, advanced reading tools, billing information export, and auditing, surveillance, and recording of patient exam records to ensure security, privacy, and HIPAA compliance, Merge said.
