Medical furniture developer AFC Industries will introduce several new offerings at the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) meeting in Seattle in May.
Pneumatic Lift Wall Mount is a radiology workstation designed for confined areas, according to the College Point, NY-based firm. It includes a gas-spring, height-adjustable mechanism for use while sitting or standing, AFC said.
In other SIIM introductions, AFC will add its ErgoTier cart to its MaxFlex series of customizable radiology reading workstations. ErgoTier combines a single-tier workstation with a flexible flat-panel monitor platform, AFC said. Users can adjust the height of the work surface and displays, as well as the forward, backward, and tilt positions of the monitor.
