Image display and advanced visualization firm Barco and NeuIsys Imaging Systems Solutions of Greensboro, NC, have formed a partnership to address the gastrointestinal market for virtual colonoscopy, Barco said.
At this week's Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) meeting in Seattle, Barco announced that it will work with NeuIsys to combine its Voxar 3D ColonMetrix advanced visualization software with NeuIsys's in-office CT systems. The agreement is effective immediately, the Kortrijk, Belgium-based firm said.
In other Barco news, the company announced that its medical display systems are now compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. Barco has developed a new set of drivers for its Nio and Coronis product lines that allow users to upgrade to Vista smoothly, Barco said.
