Sourcecorp Radiology of Louisville, KY, has released an advanced mammography feature for its Total Archiving Program (TAP).
TAP will provide the services and IT infrastructure to support large mammography datasets, enabling a site that has converted to digital mammography to eliminate onsite hard-copy storage of prior analog exams.
The TAP system can access patient DICOM data from the mammography modality worklist to send to the archiving site with the digital image files. The TAP image storage and retrieval process is compliant with HIPAA, the Joint Commission, and the Environmental Protection Agency.
