Agfa HealthCare of Mortsel, Belgium, has received the go-ahead for phase II of a RIS/PACS project at the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University in Shanghai.
The new collaboration, scheduled to begin this month, will expand the facility's existing RIS/PACS to other departments outside of radiology, including trauma and cardiology. Agfa installed the 1,500-bed facility's original RIS/PACS in 2006.
The third and final phase will integrate the entire RIS/PACS into the site's hospital information system.
