Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has introduced a new breast imaging diagnostic workstation, the Stamford, CT-based firm reported.
Fuji's Breast Imaging Diagnostic Workstation (BIDW) is available for any U.S. facility that has full-field digital mammography. BIDW complements Fuji's computed radiography for mammography system (FCRm) and will provide workstation interpretation capabilities for facilities that may use another vendor's PACS.
The new workstation has full Synapse PACS function, supports computer-aided detection and Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) overlay, and includes Fuji's patented reading protocol technology for reading workflow, according to Fuji.
