PACS firm American Medical Sales (AMS) has released two upgrades for its veterinary PACS users.
Six veterinary-specific DICOM tags can now be displayed on the main workstation screen, according to the Hawthorne, CA-based vendor. Reproductive status, registration, responsible person, and responsible organization can now be displayed along with species and breed, AMS said.
In addition, AMS has added an interactive notes feature to its PACS workstation software. This capability can be used by all AMS PACS users, the company said.
