Intelerad to launch software at RSNA show

Canadian PACS vendor Intelerad Medical Systems of Montreal will launch a new version of its PACS software, called InteleOne, at this year's RSNA meeting in Chicago.

InteleOne is a software and networking product designed to unify the reading and reporting workflows of radiology clinics and healthcare organizations that provide radiology services to facilities with multiple PACS and RIS networks, according to the company. It consolidates the image and patient data from multiple PACS and RIS into a streamlined, single workflow.

Imaging studies can be routed from many different acquisition sites and integrated into the InteleOne master database for reading and case management alongside relevant prior studies. The software enables radiologists to report from a single work list, viewer, and dictation system or voice recognition product -- increasing their efficiency and eliminating the need to learn and use multiple products or workstations from different vendors, the company said.

InteleOne also handles report generation and distribution, allowing radiologists to sign off on reports in a single system while InteleOne delivers the reports via fax, e-mail, or HL7 communication.
