Archiving distributor Data Distributing of Santa Cruz, CA, has inked a contract for its Digital Secure Copy (DISCO) package, the company said. DISCO is an automated chart copy package that burns release of information (ROI) data to CD.
Saddleback Memorial Medical Center of Laguna Hills, CA, has installed DISCO with Epic Systems' electronic medical records (EMR) package, Data Distributing said. DISCO interfaces directly with an EMR, or it can operate standalone with a scanner to produce chart copies on a disc.
