Invivo to show enhanced monitor at RSNA

Orlando, FL-based Invivo will release the sixth generation of its MRI patient vital signs monitor at this year's annual RSNA meeting in Chicago.

The Precess patient management configuration is built from Invivo's flagship Precess 3160 platform and utilizes wireless electrocardiogram and SpO2 blood oxygen saturation patient vital signs.

The new monitor features flexible mounting, whereby the MRI monitor can be positioned on an anesthesia machine in the OR in one common location for clinicians to access the equipment. The feature is designed to promote quick action and decisions in crisis situations, which in turn could result in better patient outcomes.

In addition to anesthesia mounts for all MRI anesthesia machines, the monitor also can be mounted to a wall or MRI table to better utilize room space and enhance workflow.

Invivo noted that flexible mounting is beneficial for smaller MRI rooms, such as mobile MRI environments.
