UltraPrefetch automatically retrieves studies for any DICOM client based on scheduled orders or receipt of DICOM studies, according to the West Berlin, NJ-based vendor. It can receive scheduled HIS/RIS information from HL7 orders or via DICOM Modality Worklist, UltraRad said. It can also poll a DICOM device to build a list of immediate studies for prefetching.
