PACS firm American Medical Sales (AMS) has taken orders for 31 PACS sites from its distributor network from September 1 through early November 2008, according to the Hawthorne, CA-based vendor.
The orders consisted of products from AMS' Midas line of mid-sized PACS and its PACS-in-a-Box packages for private practices and imaging centers. In addition, a number of clients are upgrading to include some of AMS' advanced imaging tools, such as the OsteoGram bone density testing software and TraumaCad orthopedic templating software, according to the company.
