Disk publishing manufacturer TEAC of Montebello, CA, has partnered with SST Group to distribute its disk publishing systems into the medical market.
The TEAC Medical Disc Publishing Systems feature dye sublimation/thermal fusion print technology, offering medical facilities an alternative for thermal CD burners as they produce patient media across the medical enterprise, according to the company. All the major components of the product line, including robotics, recorders, and printer, are manufactured by TEAC.
The publishing systems contain three burners to offer increased throughput and a choice of CD or DVD formats when recording patient studies. The systems also give facilities the ability to custom print USB flash media with their logo and patient information.
Storage and distribution products provider SST Group of Santa Clara, CA, will market the full line of TEAC disk publishing products in the medical market.
