PACS technology provider Acuo Technologies of St. Paul, MN, has signed two contracts to provide Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and Rush University Medical Center in Chicago with new archive image management systems.
Both hospitals will use the Acuo DICOM Assisted Migration (ADAM) system to move the data from their existing archives onto the Acuo vendor neutral systems, according to company.
The new systems will allow each hospital's electronic medical record portal to have one location for retrieving patient images, Acua said.
