NightRays launches audio/video software

At this week's RSNA meeting in Chicago, teleradiology service firm NightRays launched VidRay, a software package designed to provide audio/visual consultation capabilities for sharing diagnostic medical images and results across care settings.

The software allows a radiologist to toggle between usual dictation and the VidRay interface, capturing an audio/video recording of critical study results. It is intended to allow a healthcare provider to review the radiologist's notes by both listening to a recording and watching a streaming video of the images for a more accurate interpretation of the read, according to Houston-based NightRays.
