GE Medical Systems has renamed its global multivendor technical center as the Multi-Vendor Services Technical Center of Excellence following a technology expansion at the 25,000-sq. ft. Arlington, TX facility. The Waukesha, WI-based vendor said it has invested more than $5 million in the past year in multivendor diagnostic imaging technology to advance its multivendor service capabilities. New services include multivendor remote diagnostics and a new multivendor cardiovascular image quality tool, GE said.
