Konica, InSiteOne in free CR promotion

Konica Medical Imaging and archiving services provider InSiteOne are teaming up to offer free use of a Konica Xpress CR system for three years along with a warranty. To qualify for the deal, an institution must perform a minimum of 25,000 annual exams (including digital modalities and conventional equipment annual volumes) and use InSiteOne's InDex Archive service, according to the vendors.

After the three-year period, the Xpress CR system will be given to the customer as long as ongoing InSiteOne archiving services and maintenance are maintained at prevailing rates, according to Konica of Wayne, NJ, and InSiteOne of Wallingford, CT. The promotion lasts until November 30.

In other InSiteOne news, the firm has introduced InDex Recovery, an off-site secure storage service designed to ensure data integrity and business continuity in the event of an onsite disaster. InSiteOne also said that it increased its customer contracts to 86 in its fiscal year, up from 38. Customer sites under contract grew in the fiscal year to 250, up from 156 last year, according to the company.
