Effective October 1, Konica Medical Imaging and Minolta have merged to form Konica Minolta Medical Imaging USA. Konica Minolta Medical Imaging president Terry Hasegawa said that the merged companies will take advantage of broader assets in research and development, manufacturing, marketing, and service capabilities.
The merger will not affect the firm's relationships with its sales and distribution partners, Konica said. Company headquarters will remain in Wayne, NJ.
