Multimodality vendor Philips Medical Systems of Andover, MA, has signed an agreement to supply medical technology to Fletcher Allen Health Care of Burlington, VT.
The deal includes Philips cardiovascular imaging equipment and software, enterprise-wide PACS, and radiology equipment, as well as patient monitoring systems, services, and other products including consumer electronics, lighting, and appliances. On the imaging side, Fletcher Allen will install a 3-tesla Intera MRI scanner, a 40-slice Brilliance CT scanner, and an Allura Xper FD10 interventional x-ray system.
The agreement covers all Fletcher Allen facilities, including a new 500,000-square-foot ambulatory outpatient care center that is scheduled to open in April 2005.
