Optical imaging developer DOBI Medical International has named Steve Barnett as nonexecutive vice chairman of operations. Barnett has been a member of the Mahwah, NJ-based firm's board of directors since April 2005.
In other executive news, DOBI has appointed CFO Michael Jorgensen as interim CEO, replacing co-founder Phillip Thomas. Jorgensen, who has been with DOBI since 2003, will continue his responsibilities as CFO.
