Multimodality vendor Siemens Medical Solutions of Malvern, PA, reported that it will provide DeKalb Medical Center at Hillandale in Lithonia, GA, with the majority of its imaging equipment and related information technologies (IT) through a $12 million agreement.
As part of the institution's opening, Siemens will install a wide range of imaging technologies, including flat-panel digital radiography systems, 16-slice CT, echocardiography, ultrasound, SPECT, MRI, C-arm, and mammography systems.
The facility is scheduled to open in the summer of 2005, according to Siemens.
