Shimadzu Medical Systems USA has acquired one of its distributors, Vacaville-based California X-ray Imaging Services (CIS).
Since 1992, CIS's focus has been throughout northern California and northern Nevada. The acquisition allows Long Beach-based Shimadzu an opportunity to enhance customer relationships in the region and the future growth of Shimadzu, according to the vendor. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
