Monitor provider Barco has added a 5-megapixel (MP) flat-panel display, the Coronis 5MP Mammo, to its Coronis line of medical image display systems.
The device is the first medical LCD display system to meet the high demands of soft-copy mammography, according to the Kortrijk, Belgium-based firm. The Coronis 5MP Mammo display system bundles two 5MP, 21.3-inch grayscale flat-panel displays with the company's built-in I-Guard sensor, a dual-head BarcoMed display controller, MediCal Pro softcopy QA software, a display driver, and digital cabling, Barco said.
