The American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) Education Foundation has awarded three Osborn scholarships to pay for travel to the organization’s annual meeting to be held this August in Boston.
The Royce and Paula Osborn scholarships were created in memory of Royce Osborn, one of the first radiologic technologists to make the transition to radiology administrator, and his wife Paula, the AHRA said.
The Osborn scholarship provides up to $1,500 to the recipients for travel, registration, accommodations, and related expenses, according to the Sudbury, MA-based AHRA.
The three recipients are LuAnn Epperson, imaging director for Northeast Medical Center in Bonham, TX; Joanne Fisher, imaging manager outpatient imaging services for Sun Health in Sun City, AZ; and Jennifer Jones, director of radiology for Mercy Memorial Health Center in Ardmore, OK.
