The organizers of an online radiology textbook are looking for physicians to serve as writers and editors on the project. Sponsored by eMedicine.com of St. Petersburg, FL, the online book will be a peer-reviewed publication. It also will offer CME materials.
Editors include Dr. Eugene Lin of the University of Colorado in Denver and Dr. Donald Resnick of the University of California, San Diego. Imaging specialists who are interested in becoming authors can sign up at the eMedicine.com Web site. Physicians who are interested in being editors should send their CV to Lin at [email protected]. Both editors and writers will be financially compensated for their contributions.
The electronic textbook will be continually updated, according to eMedicine.com. The project is scheduled to be online in the next six months.
