Del turns in record Q3 revenues, earnings

Del Global Technologies reported third-quarter revenues of $20.5 million, up 10% compared with the $18.7 million in sales posted in the same period last year. The Valhalla, NY-based x-ray system manufacturer also saw increased net income during the quarter (end-April 29), climbing to $1.9 million from $1.8 million in the same period last year. Del executives indicated optimism that fiscal 2000 will be another year of record revenues and earnings, based on the vendor's product order backlog of approximately $47 million.
