Health Net of the Northeast and CareCore National have signed an agreement under which CareCore will manage radiology services, including quality, frequency, and cost management, for Health Net's members in New York and New Jersey.
Woodland Hills, CA-based Health Net's radiology services make up $115 million of the company's total claim costs. Wappingers Falls, NY-based CoreCare began managing Health Net's New York members in September, and will begin managing New Jersey members in January 2005.
CareCore National was established in 1994 and provides radiology benefit management services to more than 24 million health plan subscribers across the U.S. Health Net of the Northeast boasts a network of 85,000 physician and provider office locations.
