A Gainesville, FL-based company is banking on self-referral business from aging U.S. baby boomers to drive its growth in the screening market. The firm, Predictive Medicine Centers of America, is seeking to partner with diagnostic imaging centers in a franchise-based model. The company said that it plans to conduct comprehensive analyses of clients using medical imaging systems such as ultrasound, CT, MRI, and PET in combination with extensive blood, genetic, nutritional, and hormone profiles.
The company believes that its model will allow diagnostic imaging centers to add $1 million-$2 million in new cash revenue to their existing reimbursed business, and permit self-referral consumers to quickly have the information they need to proactively improve their health.
